Frequently asked questions
What is Junglore Expedition?
Junglore Expedition runs immersive, naturalist-led wildlife expeditions across India, Africa and Australia. Journeys are guided by naturalists, built around what the wildlife is actually doing that month, and grounded in conservation, 4% of every fare goes to conservation work.
Where does Junglore run expeditions?
Junglore works three continents: India, Africa and Australia. That covers tiger country and the Singalila ridge in India, the Masai Mara, Serengeti and Okavango in Africa, and the Reef and Daintree in Australia, across more than 40 expeditions.
What are the Explorer, Signature and Privé ranges?
Every Junglore expedition is offered at three depths. Explorer is the honest safari, shared jeep, forest lodges, up to eight guests, from ₹45,000. Signature is smaller and deeper, private jeep, a dedicated expert and a maximum of four guests. Privé, the Reserve Series, is a private expedition on sole-use reserves with a specialist guide and researcher, priced on request.
How large are Junglore groups?
Group size depends on the range: Explorer takes up to eight guests, Signature a maximum of four, and Privé is private to your party. Each expedition page lists its own maximum.
Who guides a Junglore expedition?
Junglore expeditions are led by naturalists who work the region year-round rather than guides brought in for the season. On Signature the naturalist is a dedicated expert, and on Privé a specialist guide travels with a researcher.
When is the best time to go on safari?
The best window depends on the park and the animal, not the continent. Junglore publishes a month-by-month season grid on its destinations page and a seasons planner that says what is moving in each month, so a trip can be timed to an event, a river crossing, a calving season, rather than to a holiday.
How do I book a Junglore expedition?
Send an enquiry through the Junglore website with your dates and party size, or write to hello@junglore.com. A naturalist maps it to your dates and comes back with a costed proposal within 48 hours.
Does Junglore arrange private and custom expeditions?
Yes. Alongside fixed departures, Junglore builds private journeys around a specific interest, photography, birding, a first safari for children, or a particular species, on dates of your choosing. Privé travels entirely on your own dates.
Does Junglore run corporate trips?
Yes. Junglore runs team offsites and leadership retreats in the wild to the same field standards as its expeditions, with formats, venues and logistics handled end to end.
